Here’s something we’ve all felt: the pressure to do MORE – while already juggling too much. We’ve been taught to put everyone else first, bury doubts, and keep going no matter the cost, leading us to burnout, health issues, and feeling like life is off track.
What would serve us better is…asking for help.
History (and science) confirm we’re wired for connection. Having support allows us to process challenges faster, build resilience, and stay connected to what matters…even when life feels messy. But hiding struggles doesn’t make them disappear.
Your stress, exhaustion, and sense of being out of control affect more than just you: your energy ripples outward, impacting those around you, especially your loved ones. Carrying the weight alone doesn’t protect them; it adds to their load too.
The good news? You don’t have to do it all alone, and you really can feel better.
Vulnerability and seeking support are strengths that can create the relief and connection you’ve been seeking. Rest and recharging aren’t indulgences; they’re essential self-care.
So ask for help!
✅ Lean on supportive friends, family, and professionals.
✅ Set boundaries to create space for yourself: take a break, say ‘no’, prioritize what’s most important and delay the rest, delegate.
And remember…If everything is considered a high priority, then nothing can truly be a high priority.
And if making changes feels like yet another thing to do, that’s where I come in.
